Threads of Hope

Who are we?

We are a joint crochet and knitting club that aims to make toys and scarves for animal shelters, orphanages and the elderly in downtown Toronto. We strive to bring together students, faculty, staff and alumni from the University of Toronto of varying experience in fibre art to make small creations during our weekly workshops hosted on the St. George campus. Creations will be tailored to the preferences of shelters and orpahnages which members will make during workshops. The creations will then be collected and stored by the club until donated to external groups.

We hope to positively impact Toronto by stitching threads together to bring more hope to others <3
